Can someone tell me about the accuracy of these masks? Stuff looks off.
As someone who's been following the reproduction of Movie spider-suits for several years now, i can tell you that MR COMPLETELY missed the mark on these masks.
Nothing about these say "replica" to me.
the materials,...
the colors...
the bricks...
the lenses...
printed webs?...
even the SHAPE of the head!
They need to burn this and start over fresh if they're trying to do a movie 3 replica.
It IS however... a nice spiderman 'variation'
There are MULTIPLE private spidersuit makers who have products that look 200% better than these.
I'd love nothing more than to be able to buy an accurate mask & make my own display! There are MULTIPLE private spidersuit makers who have products that look 200% better than these.
These pictures are of the scaled replicas right?
As far as i was aware, MR are only doing the full size mask in red and not the black (or is it blue?!?!) mask.
There was talk of a full size comic book edition mask that got put back to 2008 and apart from the MR site, ive not seen any pictures of the prototype Spiderman 3 movie full size mask.
Im confused :wacko
These are the full sized ones.
I saw these up close at SDCC. It would be a stretch to call them "full size." They looked small even for Toby McGuire. THey looked child sized. They had no raised webbing; it was printed on.
If these things sell for $20 or less, it will make a cute shelf display.
