You're sure you don't work for Microsoft or Apple? lol (Honestly, I'm not picking on you - just kidding around.)
No problem. I remember when I first started out in the 1980's I was told I could not work for IBM because I had a beard and not because of my skills or lack there of.

An no, the is not an April Fool's joke.

THIS IS IMPORTANT! One of my wonderful partners is suing me for TWO MILLION dollars, claiming that it is completely my fault that MRG went bankrupt. He is also claiming that they had NO idea of what I was doing for three years and only found out at the end, that the business was insolvent. That is patently absurd, as most of the partners were involved with the company on an almost-daily basis for three years. Their entire complaint is a total fabrication and everyone who worked there and read it, agrees with me that it is patently false.
Remember, these are folks that not only caused the problem, they also are the ones that filed the bankruptcy without even bothering to tell me. I had an extensive plan to keep the company going and get the HALs shipped and they outright ignored it and filed chapter 11. I have a MOUNTAIN of written documentation and twelve witnesses who have all agreed to testify in my defense, including all of the employees, two attorneys and two CPAs. I have also submitted a 25-page defense answer, showing that I not only worked constantly to keep the business going, but that THEY kept trying to put the company out of business for whatever insane reason. I might post this answer letter publicly at some point, so everyone can see what really happened. My attorney says that I will absolutely win this, but I still have to pay a $10,000 retainer to file an answer to this ridiculous suit by April 16th.

I don’t happen to have that laying around, so…

If you guys could help me out and BUY SOMETHING. ANYTHING. Every little bit will help. Remember, if they somehow manage to win a judgement against me for two million, NOBODY is getting a HAL, as that would pretty much wipe me out.
It never ends…

Also, for those of you who may have missed our prior announcement: SD Studios officially acquired all of the assets of MRG and we will hopefully be pulling the HAL project back from the dead and get it back into production and delivered to the MRG customers. Step 1 was to acquire the MRG inventory. Step 2 is to get WB to sign-off on the approval (I have already sent the proposal) and Step 2.5 is to raise the remaining capital to fund the production. The inventory acquisition was a key part of this funding process. What MRG did was WRONG and I am doing everything in my power to fix that. There is NO GUARNTEE that this will be approved, but please stay tuned!

Ha! If the suit is legit, we might finally see karma rear it’s ugly head towards him. He can cry foul all he wants, but if his former partners have proper papers in line that show his guilt, his antics might have finally caught up up him. Give me some popcorn as this might be a fun event to watch unfold.

SD Studios is buying Master Replica's assets to continue productions?

Didn't SD Studios get banned from The Replica Prop Forum?
I bought a prop from him on the hurry a couple years ago on the word that he was was never making anything anymore and getting out of the prop business.

Losing a $2 million lawsuit would only "pretty much" wipe him out? He apparently has a lot more assets than I do, and he's asking me for money.

I thought his lawyer said he can't lose.

You know what day April 15 is right?!

Looks like he needs some quick cash to send!
It’s May this year but you are probably right on why.

STEP 1 load trunk of car until all MRG inventory is gone. Repeat as necessary.

I hope his partner wins and “wipes him out”. Then we will finally be rid of this scumbag.
Hey, Steve. If your reading this, I’M LAUGHING AT YOU, DEADBEAT! I wish you all the worse. I hope they take your money, your house, your cars, and your worthless life.

Hmmm?

One line he states:
I have also submitted a 25-page defense answer, showing that I not only worked constantly to keep the business going, but that THEY kept trying to put the company out of business for whatever insane reason.”

Then he turns around and writes this line:
“I have to pay a $10,000 retainer to file an answer to this ridiculous suit by April 16th.

Which is it? Did he submit the defense answer or not?

This man know how to puts a lie in each Line

He probably means he submitted the answer to his lawyer, but he has to pay the retainer to file it. I've never dealt with US law system, so I couldn't even guess if that could be true. It seems like an egregious amount of money just to file a document.

The US law system is awesome. And not that expensive. And fair too!
