When I was 12, I lusted after a REAL 'Rambo' knife.
The local Army Surplus store was full of knockoff 'survival' knives imitating Lile's design. I owned one or two...I still have a scar on my hand to prove it lol...
The latest and indeed licenced 'knockoff' of this piece of art is MASTER CUTLERY's First Blood Knife.

With a set of screen accurate dog tags from the first movie:
Overall thoughts:
After reading countless reviews and opinions on youtube and alsewhere, I held little hope for a quality replica. But the price was right at circa $200, a massive contrast to the thousands of bucks for a LILE original, as nice as that would be!
I was, for once in my life, gladly satisfied.
The knife feels better than expected quality.
The packaging was a little bruised, which is never a good thing, but the contents were in tip-top condition.
The packaging is well thought out and designed for the RAMBO fan - not too frilly, not too much info, but to the point and display worthy.
The knife itself is quite lovely. It feels very robust and is very sharp - I was suprised that a slight lean on the sofa arm meant a massive tear in the sofa fabric...beware the tip, it can penetrate very, very easily!
The sheath is ok, but totally not screen accurate. I have ordered a screen accurate lefty sheath from Savage Sheaths, due any day now, to replace the one that comes with this set.
The COA is nice - a little bent through transit, but-frame worthy nontheless.
The compass in he handle is a bit basic and downright crappy - I really wanna change this to a high quality brass button compass in the right size.
The survival kit in the watertight compartment looks ok, although I will change out the matches for waterproof survival matches in quick time.
Overall, very nice and a substantial purchase for the money.
I hear lots of gripes about the quality of the steel and so forth, but to be honest, unless you are using this in the field every weekend, it's not an issue. It's plents tough enough and sharp enough to meet the requirements of the average prop buyer, or part-time survivalist.
Just look out for rips in your sofa, hope Vicki doesn't spot mine!!
