Masked Rider 1:1 Scale Ironman Armor - COMPLETED!

Re: Masked Rider 1:1 Scale Ironman Armor WIP

from the chest up it looks pretty great but the waist/codpiece area seems awfully large/wide

Yes, cause the waist is one piece pull out from mold , this size is for multiple waist size , u can trim it and adjust on your waist size .

This armor looks amazing, and look forward to seeing it in person.....

Re: Masked Rider 1:1 Scale Ironman Armor WIP

Sorry, progress is a little slow right now; tied down with work. I am a little hesitant to goto the next level. I have to modify the mannequin feet. Once I cut those off, it will be awhile before it can stand again on its own.

Any more progress pics?

Re: Masked Rider 1:1 Scale Ironman Armor WIP

OK, finally and update... actually better than an update... IT'S FINISHED!!!!

I dreaded working on this thing. Just the thought of cutting the legs & extending them to be able to stand again was my nightmare. Anyhow, it's done now, & that's all that matters. It now stands 6' 7", like it's suppose to, and is fully presentable. I think this may be the first wearable Ironman suit, as far as I know, to be suited on to a mannequin (proportionally).

Big thanks to Masked Rider (Leslee)! I can't wait to get his 1:1 War Machine!

Enjoy!

No words to say !!!!!!!!! :cry:cry:cry

Your work is stunning dude ..... to put all the pieces together , thanks for all these great shot ...

It will be more perfect if u trim the waist armor area and make it more thin fit on the mannequin waist.:)

Thanks for the feedback. I really tried to keep the trimming down to a minimum on the armor. I butchered the mannequin, but didn't have the heart to cut too much of the armor suit. :)

I have the opposite problem. If i buy leslies suit I have to make it fit my 5'8" frame. (maybe lifts in the boots?) Any thoughts on fitting the suit to a shorter height?

Suit looks nice with the paint job. My name is Reiko aka RoboReiko. I recently purchased a Ironman suit made by Masked Rider from a gentleman who is a member of the Rpf board. Very well packed and sent shipped immediately after payment made. I have a question. The neck rubber piece is awfully uncomfortable. Keeps me on a fixed position raising my chin. It also does not close properly from the back openings. I put it on my 12 year old boy and fit him like a charm. I don't have a very thick neck and have a thin athletic built. Is there any other or updated neck piece to solve this? Perhaps any adjustments? Can someone provide me instructions on how to properly put this suit on with the hardness it came with? The suit is being held with Velcro straps that attach arms and legs in which I dislike as it puts it out of alignment. Times the lower leg tilts to the left or right. I have a RoboCop suit and instead of Velcro straps I used metal brackets. Perhaps I will do the same. Any help to make this suit comfortable wearing is appreciated. Thank u much.
