Thought I'd post about the bag and umbrella that I've made for a friend.
She's a big fan of Mary Poppins.
I couldn't find the original carpet (presumably a 1950s version of an earlier rug) for the bag so went with something similar, and it is with a smaller frame than the original as I couldn't get one to scale. As it was a rush job (and I'm colour blind) I didn't match the handles to the straps very well.
The umbrella was a clay sculpt moulded in silicone and cast over an umbrella handle from a local store in urethane. Unfortunately the colour was bleached out by the flash as it is greener than it appears.
