They're going after all Inhumans, it's just that Lincoln has evaded them and frustrated them to the point that they're willing to go public about him to help them in apprehending him. We've been shown the ATCU going after others, the first episode of the season introduced us to them and their mission, because of that we don't need to see every other time they go after another Inhuman, unless it's relevant to the plot, since it's assumed that the audience already knows that's what they're doing even if we don't see it happening in every episode.

That would be pointless since we've already seen them chasing down a random Inhuman and Lincoln, and it's already been established in dialog that they're doing so all across the US. Another thing, I think that the ATCU is an American operation with authority to act in the US only; while they seem to be a replacement of sorts for SHIELD I don't think they have the same level of authority to do whatever they want, anywhere they want as SHIELD did/can.

I'm thinking that it's because of, or a combination of, 2 things. One is that SHIELD might not have the manpower after everything that has gone down so Coulson is holding back on deploying tactical teams unless absolutely necessary. The other thing could be that after everything that has gone down he is reluctant to use tactical teams openly so as not to scare the public and put a friendlier face on SHIELD.
The practical reason is this way they do not have to pay as many actors.

I wonder if she wants to go back because she has some kind of PTSD or whether there's something valuable or helpful that she found?
Not a fan of "will they get together" drama.
And I can understand SHIELD having the monolith, but NASA? Especially with NASA being NASA, I can't imagine them sending three people through on a one way mission. No way to send probes through?

I'm not a big fan of the "will they get together" drama either. I'm much less a fan of
drama. I thought the episode was handled well given that idea, but that idea was very off putting for me. It just seems needless. They had an opportunity to do something really interesting with the portal, the other planet, and with Simmons. Going the romance novel route was not terribly captivating.
Elizabeth Henstridge did a great job, as usual.
Also, they riffed on the last Riddick movie a little bit. I was half thinking she was going to find a freaking alien puppy.

Remember, they billed it as a possible alternative means of space travel, so that's why NASA. As for sending a probe, we don't have much in the way of land based probes or even UAVs which much in the way of sensors beyond an onboard camera with, at best, IR & thermal capability in addition to normal viewing capabilities. As advanced as tech is in the Marvelverse, they are not Stargate command and don't have MALPs to send through. There's also the matter of telemetry, anything they send though wouldn't be able to send back any info, once again, this is not Stargate and the wormhole can't be kept open to send radio (and other) signals through. They could send it through and hope to retrieve it a year later, since that was the plan for the astronauts, but there has to be a way to retrieve it; tying a rope or cable to it obviously won't work, nor would sending a signal telling it to go through the portal, the best they could probably do is program it to return to the same spot it arrived in a year's time and park itself on the spot the portal opens up on and hope it gets it right and the batteries last that long.

I liked it. It reminded me a lot of The Martian.
I'm glad they referenced her phone being fixed by Fitz to have a longer battery life.
One question though: the portal that appeared on the other side of the canyon occurred between the time Simmons got nabbed and SHIELD's opening it at Glastonbury, but I don't remember any reference to it opening on Earth during that time. Even if no one was allowed in the room with it, you're think they'd have cameras on it 24/7 at that point.
Additionally, once returned, Simmons seemed really spooked by noises, especially technological noises. And she kept that small blade with her while she slept (with Fitz asleep next to her.) She seemed a lot more traumatized when she got back than when she was on Planet X with her new buddy.

It makes a certain amount of sense if you think about it, she's basically suffering from PTSD in some form and is having a hard time adjusting to life as she knew it. She learned to adapt to the way things were on that planet she was on, that became the norm for her and now things back on Earth are strange and different, even if they are familiar. Plenty of people who have served overseas in combat adjusted to life in the field and combat and have a similarly hard time adjusting to things back home, being disturbed by loud noises (reminding them of gun or artillery fire), reverting back to habits acquired from their time overseas like not actually sleeping in a bed, etc.
But then again, it was an alien planet... and there could have been a number of reasons why she was acting this way... 1) She did say the gravity was heavier on the planet, and after being stuck there for a few months, her body may have gotten used to it and in its absence has caused the blood flood to her brain to increase and cause her to feel light headed and confused. 2) She could not be Simmons but a mimic from the planet. 3) There was some kind of airborne virus that infected her that draws her back to the planet. 4) She could be pregnant with that other guy's kid and the kid could be an alien because the guy was actually a mimic. 5) That creature that attacked her in the pool might be the mimic in it natural form and after eating it or after it bit her leg poisoned her and she's been infected in some way and it's changing her DNA.
So many ways to spin this one... love Shield!

I could totally get that, but it looks like she only encountered the Evil Thing twice in six months - the traumatic stress didn't seem that acute (given what she's already experienced as a SHIELD agent.) And working problems in the cave (with the computer and later) shouldn't have been substantially different than her lab, lifestyle-wise.
Still, it was a LOT to adjust to, and it'd be unreasonable to expect her to snap right back into her old life. I was just expecting, from her behavior, for her to have had a much worse time of it for those six months.
I'm wondering if her friend was the Evil Thing all along.
I'm pretty sure that if he didn't kill the big bad he at least wounded it as it was gone in that last scene. Speaking of, given the blue tint I was hoping sunrise would be a blue star not a yellow one. I loved his marveling at her phone and it's 120GB Memory, in 2001 that was supercomputer specs.

I'm not sure why anyone is surprised that she fell for the NASA dude. She lusts for men of action (remember Trip?), Fitz was in the friend-zone and she was just beginning to learn to love him a romantic way. Not to mention she was losing her hope and starting to think she would be trapped there forever with him, so why not just on with it and live.
