If Ward sticks around past this season it better be as a villain.
Anybody else expect the gravitonium to make a last appearance this season in the finale?
I keep getting these flashbacks to "Buffy" every time I watch this now. I'm afraid the whole Skye/WARD feels like a retread of the Buffy/ Angel relationship. Ward and Skye annoyed me from the off, but I couldn't really pin it down as to why until I had a sudden "lightbulb" moment watching them last week. Now I just can't shake it, they look so alike...
*raises hand*
I also like how Quinn mentions to the military that with SHIELD gone they need someone to take the place. Echoes of something Tony Stark would say, so I'm thinking with the military thinking that, Stark Industries being involved because of Hill, and a few other things, that such a private security force is exactly where things are going to go, and it just so happens that Coulson's team is part of it. They'd technically be called something different, but under the guidance/influence of Hill (and to a degree, Fury), they'd still at heart be SHIELD, or at least SHIELD 2.0.
I really like this show but watching it right now they shot the rope anchor into an acoustical ceiling tile ! Come on !

Grant used his real name throughout...so...SHIELD accepts pyromaniac attempted murderers who escape from juvenile facilities into their Special Ops program? No wonder they were being run by, and completely infiltrated by Hydra. Their security vetting is terrible.
I doubt it would take much work for HYDRA to make a five year old case disappear, especially since it never made it to trial.
I hear you but they knew her history and took a calculated risk because of her skills. Ward was just a raw recruit. Those are a dime a dozenRussian assassin that was once on your radar as someone to eliminate is perfectly ok, but you choose to have an issue with how ward got into shield.
I'd like to see them explain to Tony Stark and the other Avengers how Coulson is alive.
When an agency does a background check, they send an investigator to talk to your family, friends and co-workers. I guess Hydra got to all of them too.
Ward didn't shoot the dog, which was a parallel to him letting Fitz/Simmons go. And we've known for several weeks that Fury would appear in the finale
Concrete slab on the other side of the tile.

They showed the scope view but didn't show who was holding the rifle.
