Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

May and Ward should both be proud of what a badass Skye has become. And her control of her gift is pretty remarkable as well.

I'm gonna miss the Bus.

Simmons is getting a little scary, but I still suspect Ward is plotting something.

And a very nice tie-in to AoU.

I think after last night, as far as it being canon, we can all agree that it most definitely IS.

That being said, I think it's more that AoS is beholden to what the movies do, but the movies aren't necessary going to check in with the small-screen stuff.

I for one would definitely like to see some of the big screen stars come to the small screen once in a while. I'd be nice if they brought in Stark to help with a problem, or ran into Hawkeye while on a mission. I loved when they brought in Lady Sif. She wasn't first string, but she was in the Thor movies.

Woo, just checked IMDB and it shows a picture of Patton Oswalt for the next episode. It'll be nice to see a Koenig again.

The cast list for the next episode has a character named "Alisha" does this name mean anything to anybody? The actress is a stunt woman and it looks like she is in both parts of the finale too. I can only imagine she's an Inhuman.

What's on the boat? Maybe Gonzales gained control of those missing Diviners.

The non-canon thing keeps bugging me. Two years into the show is pretty late to pull that carpet out from under it, isn't it?

What a great episode!
That one cut fight sequence with Skye was top notch. If not one of the best fights of the show second only to May Vs May.
When this so started it was cheeky and on the nose corny. I love how they have turned it more serious.
I used to dispose Ward. Now he is layered and interesting. You never quiet know if you can trust him.
"We got the team back together!"
I loved that line

Yeah, Skye was putting the smack down in that scene. That was some serious up close gun play, it was pretty brutal for broadcast TV but it's okay cause they were HYDRA.

Yes, the scene with Skye soloing all those Hydra goons was fantastic.

You know what was more amazing? She could have ended them all a hell of a lot quicker by using her powers. She CHOSE (or more to the point, the showrunners chose) to use her training instead of using her abilities as a crutch.

Of course, you could argue that she fell back to her training because her powers are still new and her training is more familiar, but whatever...

Seemed to me she shot, one - if not two guys, straight in the face! :eek

That scene was outstanding. It made me appreciate how they've fixed the development of Skye's character. In season one everyone was just shilling the crap out of how wonderful and amazing Skye was like she was the greatest person ever to live and it was annoying as all get out. Give a bit of a time skip between seasons 1 and 2 to have her develop combat skills, have everyone dial back the character shilling, and then have an arc that actually shows us how she's significant and then you've earned a scene like last night. Last season everyone would have called bull**** on that scene; this season everyone buys it and praises it as second to the May/Agent 33 fight. It was another moment that really made me appreciate how much better the show has gotten since CA:TWS.

Contrived as it was, it was fun to see the original six back together on a mission. Especially in light of how now they've actually all developed personalities beyond "muscle" and "brain."

I can't believe they blew up the Bus. I was literally yelling BOOOOO and throwing popcorn at the screen...

Only because it hasn't been mentioned by anyone, my favorite line from the episode:

"I thought your powers were to spin really fast and collect rings?"

That was funny! I had to rewind it to make sure I heard correctly. They had a lot of great jokes in this one. The other good one was when Ward said something about Skye shooting him and several people said she should have aimed for the head. :lol

Skye is a bad*ss! I don't know how anyone can't like her now.
