Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I was wondering about Coulson too. Be interesting to see what Marvel characters may pop up now and then. Too bad fox still has Spidey and fantastic four.

I will definitely be setting the DVR in case I miss an episode. Liked the first episode and am looking forward to see how it will develop

Re: Agents of Shield

I thought it was kinda cheesy. Not what I expected from all the hype. Doesn't hold a candle to the films.

Better than the trailer showed. I liked how they didn't show us too much before the premiere, and it had a cool ending. Can't wait for next week's episode.

Really enjoyed it. SHIELD and Blacklist are making Mondays and Tuesdays more enjoyable this fall/winter. The only thing missing in SHIELD was a Stan Lee cameo! Ok, his name was in the credits...;)

I have to say I really enjoyed the show. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with for the rest of the season!

Not to be the turd in the punchbowl but I thought the show was terrible. I won't go into specifics because I know there are those who tivoed it (yet still click into this thread without seeing it) but, in general it reminded me of cheap tv. Perhaps I expected Marvel to be more clever - in a Lost first season, can't change the channel kind of way - but to me this thing just dragged. Again my opinion.

A bit cheesy, but overall I enjoyed it and plan on tuning in regularly. Very Joss Whedon-y in a good way.

It's off to a good start and I quite enjoyed it. I feel the real secret about Coulson won't be revealed until the next Avengers film, but they will keep hinting about it in the show.

I agree. There was so much forced acting I lost count how many times I rolled my eyes. Hell even Coulson was way over the top even for him. Plus I love all the name dropping in the first 5 minutes lol

This show reminds me of a newer campy feel like Greatest American Hero

I liked it. :)

The characters were solid, the action was fun and for a one hour premier episode, it managed to get everything done in a timely manner. I've seen worse pilot episodes to a series that ended up being very good. Heck, If Star Trek: The Next Generation can be regarded as the best Star Trek series even though it started out with two full painful seasons of bad.... EVERYTHING, I think Agents of Shield has a pretty good chance at being a solid entry. I'm just so giddy at the fact that somewhere in this same exact universe there is an aline raccoon who is a weapons expert.

Also, no one disses Ming-Na, especially when it comes to age!
