Soooo blasting NIN, Gravity Kills, Stabbing Westward, Rob Zombie and The Crystal Method whilst putting the finishing touches on Zombie Capt America!
My daughter thinks me strange and eccentric, but stopped and grabbed these of me sewing in velcro and securing loose flaps of fabric so the ..errr. bones and meat show more:sick
I guess kids don't see dads sewing enough..LOL! Even my wife said.."You sew??" duh yes! :confused :rolleyes
what the kiddies will see.lol.
Honestly finally getting excited about putting this on for the party and Halloween.:cool

Wow i love it...i don't have a backup for Halloween...i just saw that zoombie costume at Walmart....i just came back like an hour ago...i was thinking of getting a costume online but was afraid I would not like it..pictures apeat better than the actual costume...well your doing an awesome job..maybe we'll have our WM ready for next year.

Don, you are so right! I ordered the blasted Capt costume based on the pictures! It photographs well but looked like bad pajamas in person. You would have to be drunk at a costume party to even see it and go.."Dude! You look like Capt America!" And that would only be because of the iconic shield and helmet! False advertising at its best. You can get the zombie costume and capt for a combined cost of 40-50 and spend some time combining them. This mash up approach would work for any super suit! I hope this thread gives some ideas to folks on "Dead" lines lol!

Looking really good. I have a Jason Part 7 made using parts from that same costume. A quck tip I learned from Jedifyfe, you can "dirty" up the cap suit by simply misting cheap black spraypaint around the tears in the suit. Don't use too much though. It gives it a great look for cheap.

Huge delay! Tied up with work and life. Party was great and the costume was a hit! Here are some pics and the small video I did in costume.
I was happy here because I could open my mouth enough to talk at imbibe at the party..:love

Actually mounted a hook into the black strap so I could hang the shield on my back! Worked great at the house party, otherwise I would have been knocking things over like mad.
