Marvel Zombies; Captain America/ Zombie mash up. Fast and cheap too!

At least they look like scary Captain America pajamas!:lol:behave:lol

I was so unhappy that I so seriously underestimated my armor build. Then terribly disappointed the Capt costume was so tragic when I recieved it:facepalm:cry

What truly amazes me is how well the stoopid suit photgraphs versus how poor it looks in person.

I have read in film books and heard in documentaries that the camera is truly blind and that you can fool it so easily with forced perspectives and deceptive paint jobs... this is an excellent example!

The costumes folks are making here on RPF are so exceptional, this is nowhere in that league, but since this is a one night at a friends party thing it will be ok.

The truly great thing about The RPF is that you see so much being done by such masterful craftsmen and craftswomen that you get ideas and learn to think outside the box, otherwise I don't think I would have done this!:cool

My wife was blown away at my re-awakened latent ability to repurpose off the shelf stuff for her costume and my builds too.

At least there is a semi happy ending here!:confused:confused

Dude love the zombie build, though and I don't know how you feel about it, maybe grunge up the clothes a bit, get 'em dirty :)

I'm proud to say I only sniffled a little and then threw it skidding down the driveway five of six times then hit the spray.. got to clean up the edges of the bullet strikes, but getting there.:confused
 
So I am getting closer to completion! I have to do the back next and then roll in the dirt for some finishing touches!

Actually, I was unhappy with the fake blood being so bright red..it really messed up the effect of the uniform... however it dried more like real blood and now looks like body fluid!:sick:eek
I used to be an embalmer so I know.:cool
