And finally some shots with landing lights and for the first time I used the landing gear.
And some pictures from the sides.

Today I sprayed the final clear coat on the model. I lost some paint on the upper cannon, don’t know why it doesn’t stick properly, I even used metal primer in the beginning. I would have preferred a plastic cannon

I lost this Greeblie. It is from the deago magazine 100. people pay crazy prizes for this issue, so I thought I could scratch built this little thing. I thought of a paperclip but I don’t have a metal primer left. Any easy ideas?
Even if loosing greeblies is really authentic ;-)

I'd use rod styrene & use a hairdryer (or heat gun on low) to soften it so you can bend it into the proper shape. I used tons of it on my MPC Falcon a few months ago...

You can also get plastic welding rod in many materials and diameters if that helps at all.

Or, solid-core copper wire, either with, or without, the insulation, can work well, and it holds it's shape well.

My baby Girl was born 2 weeks ago and the falcon finally landed on my wall ;-) I am glad it is finished since I don‘t have a free minute left.

I bought a regular TV mount. You definitely need to be 2 people to install it since it weighs 40 pounds overall.
It definitely can tolerate at least 80 pounds but I‘ve got mixed feelings that my other Kid sleeps beneath it from time to time :8

Great idea that T.V. wall stand   (y) (y) Despite the manufacture's "80 pounds weight" I wouldn't leave the kid sleep underneath.

Thx, to be fair deago also offered a quite similar TV stand so it was not really my idea. I was too late to use an internal mount as some guys did, but then You also have to display it on the ground. And I don’t have free space for that. Other possibilities are Beamer mounts but I like the option to show the bottom side.
I am glad that I recently found out that it can carry up to 180 pounds and I used the biggest screws available for it so I am cool with it now.
