Just checking out the screengrab you have in the first post, I would say for sure the smaller one you have in your video is way closer in size.

Yes, I think that a lot too, but remember that shot is at an angle, tilted backwards and my hands are on the smaller side. I think I'll be making the metal one 65mm

Casting hollow in metal is hard for me. There's not a lot of room in there anyway. I might make a 3d printed metal one, and that one I could print open, hollow, like a bucket, with holes for the lights to shine through, but you'd have to build a back to close it, and it'd probably cost a lot.

Maybe as two parts, with one part being the cap? I wouldn't want it to have the plug just jutting out

I was actually thinking the same thing.... you could incorporate a "slider" dongle but I'm not sure how that would look....

Ballpark for chipped resin will be around 20-40 or so, pouch will be around 20-25 or so, metal will be around 55 or so. I'm not ready to give an actual price quote, so take these numbers with a large margin of error. I'll convert to a sale thread in a week or two when I get more clarity.

Definitely want one of these, put me down as interested. As far as which one, well I'm not sure on that point. At first I was thinking metal, but it looks like according to the visual dictionary it appears to be red and white colored (though I remember it being more metallic for some reason), so I suppose resin is a better bet. I have an iPhone so NFC, while awesome, holds no real draw for me. I also agree that 65mm looks closer to the right size.

I guess the one I'm interested in is the most screen accurate one, price be damned.

VD is different than film, but it sucks because film isn't clear yet. I can't fit the nfc chip in 65 I don't think.
