Yes. The device pictured is just a rush job to help me figure out sizing. I'll be using a nicer one for molding. The bag is darker too but it's just the leather I had on hand.

I tested the nfc chip and it works great. I made one 3D model I made with a slot to slide it in, and a little cap to cover it. I didn't print the whole piece since I was just testing the fit and range of the NFC chip.
For the resin version, I can just drop it in the mold as the resin is curing. I started one, but I'm currently in the car headed to NYC until Sunday, so no demolding until I get back.
I'm still deciding what options I'll be offering, but it looks like at a minimum it'll be a 3D printed version, a resin cast with chip, and real foundry cast metal, either pewter or white bronze. The molten metal would melt the chip, and radio waves don't go through metal well anyway, so the metal one won't have that functionality.
I'll be able to ship these in January, so... quick turnaround!

Yup. It's a few blue rectangular lights. I made a section for it to be painted blue but I think they did the lights in post-production. It's going to be hard for me to get power and everything in there at the proper scale.
