Malcolm Reynolds Suspenders

ok so i've run into an intresting problem...i recently picked up a pair od israelei combat suspenders like the ones that captain reynolds wears in the show firefly...i still need to attach the new v-back brace but upon trying them on i found that the fron arms of the suspenders are about and inch and a half too short...did anyone else run into this...or does anyone have a fix to this?

How tall are you? I'm 6'2" with a long torso and if I adjust the front arms to the correct length they fit just fine. I'd think you'd have to be at least 6'5" for the yoke to not reach, or be wearing pants with the waist way too low. What type of pants did you go for?

i don't have the pants yet...but the hight of the pants may be the problem...otherwise...im not sure

The waistband of the pants should be at your belly button, you can probably estimate based on that.
