The QMX movie version will likely be undersized due to being based off a pull from the original film production mould in a mild plastic material, then remastered to fix some of the flaws from that mould carried over, then retooled for mass production, and finally, shrinkage yet again from the terrible material the retail production run was made with. For the money, its great to display on a shelf.
The Phil casts, some were from the original mould, then a reproduced mould, in resin. Shrinkage will vary.
The closest anyone will get to the actual live fire hero pistols are the Model 47's in any form of those projects.
Ive no idea about any other versions out there other than whats mentioned above.
I have the only hard casting produce for the film and a pull from Phils first run out of the original mould for comparison here. The original hard casting for the film is 1/16th of an inch longer than the original tv series version. That could be some shrinkage, again the Phil castings were resin while the film casting was a plastic base material, combined with the fact the outer barrel/shroud on the live fire hero's were reset with new screws to center the inner barrel, its just a smidge longer total.
Sorry for the bad pics, its been a long week. The only strait edge I had at hand was an import, I believe Ukrainian, Streets of Fire DVD, because priorities. The original tv casting is 14 1/2 and add a 16th of an inch to that for the film version. The castings one atop the other.
