I am going to make a pair of platform boots with a 6 inch sole, and I cant find any info. The best I can find on the web is to make the platform out of wood, but thats really not all that comfortable. The platforms you can buy usually have either stack soles or are one big solid hunk of rubber, and I would like either of these options.
Ive checked online and I cant find anyone who sells stack soles or anything like that, and years ago on the Vadermaker site before he passed away there was a tutorial using a product I think from Home Depot, something you layered on and heated up so you could form them to the boot and add traction to the bottom. But that site is gone now, and I have no info. HELP!!!
