making a one piece silicone mould for a cowl

Ive done silicone jacket moulds to cast resin before, and want some advice on doing a one
piece silicone mould for a cowl, my plan is to do a mould of my sculpt and cast it in resin
so I have a solid master, my concerns are getting the silicone jacket off the solid resin master
pulling it over the chin area, how thick and what shore should I use. I have always done the silicone
quick thick to help the mould last and had to cut the back to get it off.

I don't think I'd go anymore more then a shore 30. I'd still do at least 5 layers of silicone, guessing you're brushing that on, and it probably wouldn't hurt to do some fabric reinforcement in one of your layers. That should help alleviate any tearing risk from stretching it over the core.
