Making a new mould of pre existing TMNT latex shell.

Hi all,

Was wondering if I could pick your brains on this one. I currently have a TMNT costume that over the years has become to tight for me. (To much Pizza.)
I'm going to turn this into a display piece because who dosen't want a Mutant Turtle in their hallway.

However I don't want to seperate the shell from the costume but would like to make a new shell to add to a costume I have in the works. (Another Turtle and possibly Master Roshi.)

So what's the best way of doing this? Normaly I would vasaline thie existing item and just straight mold it but I don't want the hassle of cleaning the shell of again. Plus I don't want to damage the shell.

Any ideas?
