Making a mold with Enduro Flex polyurethane rubber

Has anyone here ever made a mold with polyurethane rubber like enduro flex? Im thinking of casting clear epoxy resin pistol grips in it. I just cant make myself spend over 100 dollars for a 2 part silicone.

Urethanes work fine as mold materials, BUT they do not have the same release properties that silicone does.
It is imperative that you use mold release when making the mold and when casting parts.

Thanks Duncanator. If I used a Stoner mold release spray, would it make the mold and casting dull or with a flat finish? Im wanting a very glossy smooth cast. Thanks again
