Oh gosh, it's been a while since I posted here!! Been busy as heck! Thought I'd share some photos of my recent Nux cosplay from San Diego Comic Con 2015! (It was a hit! My friends and I won the costume contest over at the HISHE Villain's Pub, too!) I was embarrassingly in character, apparently. Ahaha. I blame all the free drinks we were handed!
Most of the photos we gathered were from random strangers on Instagram, Tumblr, Google, and various "Best Of" Cosplay lists after the convention! What a great time!
Wheel was made from a variety of found objects, and fabricated parts from styrene or worbla, rubber, metal, etc.
I get asked about my prosthetics all the time, and have to admit I made them in the most basic way possible, from slip latex and cotton balls. I definitely want to upgrade the costume and make it even more screen-accurate (except for the tube-top, as a lady Nux, it's an important adjustment lol) and fine-tuning the prosthetics and adding facial ones as well is on the agenda for next year! I want to get his belts right and proper also.
