Here's the "Working Suit" master I'm building as a last minute thing in time for selling at the the Japanese Wonderfest. Yes, once again, Jason shows something that no one knows/cares about, but it can't all be Star Wars, hehe. I kinda hate showing it in this state, as there's sooo much I have to do still, but eeeh, why not. It's 1/20th scale prototype to what would be the first powered suit in the MaK universe. Apparently, it's basically a Power Loader, in that it was developed for farm and industrial use.
Kow's drawing that I'm using as a guide (it's the suit on the far left):
Engine bits and frame:
Feet (they start out as blobs of Apoxie Sculpt):
Leg bits that I'm basing off of the AFS parts:
Other leg bits. The goal with the legs is to suggest the same internal mechanisms as the AFS has, without armor platings and coverings. So, I have to show pistons externally, and these grey bits will serve as the piston mounts/anchors.
Engine bay sides, with more bits added. When assembled, everything fits well and is densely layered, suggesting all sorts of functionality/purpose, like a car's engine bay.
Pretty proud of this! Figure sculpt so far (this took about half a week, lol). Need to finish the glasses and do the headset/helmet.
One of the forearms (scratch built, baby):
One of the upper arms (also scratched):
Other forearm (scratched, wheeee):

Leg bits need one more round of putty:
Back pad for the pilot:
Guts:
Everything fits so far, and I will sculpt up the pilot padding/front plates next:
This shows how the side plate details nestle in:
And this shows how the side plates will socket into the main engine and pivot forward a little, registering with that forward outer plate's lip and ensuring a 90º position:

Now I have to sculpt up the torso section, ensuring it mates with the legs and arms and back pieces... I have added Apoxie Sculpt spacers for the legs/groin area, and I'm pretty satisfied with the positioning of everything. Arms and legs are temporarily tacked into place.

Photoshop trickery shows how the two radiators will be stacked on the back. They will mount to the engine via the bottom radiator, and the top one will have a couple of support rods mating it to the bottom one.
Ta-Da! New arms and lower legs to bring it closer to the illustration. Forearms are thinner, the left one isn't as long, and the upper arms will be fleshed out with flexible coverings/armor plating! I re-did most of the scratched parts, tossing the old ones away- am I in the club now?
Compare to how it looked two days ago - shazam!
Still needs cleanup, but there ye be.
The rod tapers. So sue me

Here's the latest as of tonight (didn't get to work on it much this weekend, what with all the errands and Christmas light hanging, lol). Engine tubular frame now has welded seams (which will be cleaned a little), radiator assembly, and the muffler/exhaust, which I gave a VW Beetle vibe to.
Legs have actuators - need to add the mount points for it. Arms will have something much more subtle to join the bulky forearms to the back plates, implying a strong exoskeleton - kinda like ribbed vertical lines you see on Kow's drawing.
Upper arms and elbows are done. I need to add the elbow plating, aforementioned exoskeleton ribs, and then the shoulder pad area (which will also nicely hide the fact that I cut down a couple corners on the plating to get the look I wanted, hehe.
