You should be able to just use a clamp and your hands if your are using 12 gauge steel sheeting.

Thin sheet metal you could use metal cutting shears. Anything thicker and you could use a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade.

They arent a whole lot. Ask around to see if anyone has some. It will save you some time.

yes, your local hardware store should have them. Just remember there are three different kinds of shears. Right Cut, Straight Cut, Left Cut. For your purposes you'll be fine with a basic straight cut shear.

hey a family friend whos been helping me had some meal cutting shears and i used them for the butt plate! he had some new ones as well so he gave me the old 1s! thats 20 dollars saved!
