Was there any shrinkage? That was my major turn off from the Boba Debt cast brass run... the shrink factor was pretty pronounced.
How did you do brass M38s??
can you please let me have the external dimensions of the M19 scope so I can build my own it will of course not be a working scope but just solid metal just want it to look visually as accurate as possible and I just can not find the measurements anywhere please please help me
I'll tell you right now, that's asking ALOT! Probably way more than you even realize. This project has been over 6 months in the works and Chris has done an incredible amount of leg work to make it happen. Not to mention the amount of money he has invested. I helped him locate his first M-19 needed for R&D purposes, that alone was not cheap as it came from the personal collection of another friend of mine, then it had to be scanned, drafted, cast, & machined. All of which cost even more money, a lot more money! I can tell you right now that Chris did not do all this to make a profit but simply because he enjoys it and he loves what he does. Having said that, I agree with sharing and spreading information, but what you're asking is just simply not feasible. It has nothing to do with generosity or greed, Chris simply needs a return to break even with the incredible amount he has invested into this project. Just like anyone else on the RPF that does a run of high-end prop replicas. This is no different, just on a larger scale.
So don't be too surprised if the answer is "No".
If you want a metal M-19 replica that's as accurate as possible, I highly suggest you just wait and order one of these when they're available. There's actually a lot of difficult contours and radiuses on the outer body that would be rather difficult to reproduce on drawing without a digital lazer scanner. And by the time you do that, cast it, and machine it you will have spent more time and money than you would've just buying one of Fieldmarshall's replicas.
I assume he asked for dimensions cause he doesn´t want/need the quality and accuracy shown here.
Alan made some blueprints, here is a link to his drawings: http://www.wolfchasers.com/propaholics/WOF_drawings/
To be honest, i believe it´s way easier to buy a resincast for the cheap way, or this here for having it accurate. But if its just for the fun of making it yourself ... good luck for making your own.

Hi thanks for the drawings I know that there is a lot of time and money being put into the project of field marshall but I was not after his plans just the external size of the real scope. I bought the ANH kit from DEC a couple of years ago so I do not mind paying for quality items but I just got a lathe and mill and wanted to see if I could make my own. I have ordered a resin scope from DDAY and all this will in the end cost more than it would to buy a finished field marshall scope but I do not need a working scope and I can say I made that thanks a lot for all the comments and help just need to order some aluminium now I have the sizes
