M*A*S*H inspired Fishing Hat

I started fly fishing recently and needed a fishing hat. I always liked Henry Blake's, so I thought I would have a go at putting one together...

I couldn't find an exact match to the hat band material, but spotted a plaid tie going cheap on Ebay, which looked similar. The flies and lures have had the tips filed, so they don't spike me too badly.
If I see closer matches to the original hat, band and fishing paraphernalia, then I will try to make a more accurate replica in the future.
