Here we go finished finally, been a three year build on and off due to having a baby daughter, but finally completely finished with removable canister and lights, so happy with how this turned out.

How much does it weigh? Is it a solid casting? Looks great!

Mmm it is a solid cast and I think it finally weighed in at 4kgs give or take but it felt right to hold, I have rotocast it with success but one in pic was solid apart from canister which is hollow as it houses the battery pack

Sweet build! How big did you make it? Huge like the in game model, or more scaled down to your hand? looks to be about 25" from the pictures

I scaled it to a reference pick from game where Shepard was holding it, the grip was a pretty standard size which gave me sizing for rest of weapon
