Actually Rex, I'm in Manhattan now.

But, only Manooga has received his kit so far. His went out first because he contacted me and told me that he's moving to another country and so he needed express shipping so that it didn't miss him when he moved. The rest should start arriving next week. Also, since I'm in NYC and everything has to get to the post office by being carried by hand ten blocks on foot, I can only ship a limited amount of these at a time

This is a D class prop no one bothered to even paint or take ten minutes to make look good. The worst looking lightsaber in the entire Star Wars Universe and I am sooo excited to get mine.(y)D:cheers

There will be a second run which is great news. I have secured a clamp and now I just need my circuit board, and lever.


Props sure can grow on you.

I originally hated the Obi TPM/AOTC. Love it now. Miss my Elite :(

Did not care about Sideous-Now my favorite of all

And I am now all excited about a saber I had no interest in when MR announced it and swore would never be in my collection. Now I can't wait..

When people ask me about this prop the first thing I mention is its history: The fact that it was a design for the first lightsabers on screen with rotating rods, then turned into Luke's own built saber by the end, it's a very epic story.

The VERY first time I saw Obi ANH, I thought "Man that looks crappy... talk about thrown together..." Now it's by far my favorite. It was mainly because I knew all about Luke and the graflex and just had an idea that lightsabers were silver and shiny tubes.

And now cuz I love the Obi, my affection for the V2 has skyrocketed.

Dooku rocks but every time I hear the name I think of Potty training my kids. When I had my Dooku MR I had a Darth Tyranus plaque made. Darth Tyranus is such a cool name I will never know why they insisted in calling him Count Dooku. Even Sideaous and Padda Monde or Panda Bear or whatever the hell her name was would have made fun of him

"Come on little Count Dooky, go Dooku in the potty. You can do it."

Beauty!!! I feel so lucky to have this before expected. I have managed to assemble it and now it's ready to be painted tomorrow. Sadly the original Graflex clamp and lever are waiting in the U.S., and there are still three and a half weeks left to move there. I was deciding on which one to keep, whether the MR or the Starkiller. After holding both and comparing them with the reference pics, Starkiller is the winner. So I will let the MR go soon.

I specially like two things about the Starkiller:
- The weight. It has the weight a lightsaber is supposed to have. "A light weapon", not those heavy solid things. Yet it is very solid.
- The sound it makes when you grab it. That sound of metal you hear in the movie, the same you hear when you grab this thing since the pommel and the emitter are separate pieces. None of the previous solid versions did that!

Dan has done an excellent work here. Congrats pal! And thank you for giving us all the chance for having this.
