Lucas - maybe he is just making things up?

It's also just Wookiepedia. I wouldn't take it too seriously.

Personally, if I were Stewart, I'd be more stoked about this:

It's from a book written by Jude Watson... Lucas does not write any of the EU, nor does he really read most of the books. Lucasfilm gives the approval.

Anything about the main characters that have to deal with origins do go directly through him. That's why noone has said what planet Yoda is from, because Lucas won't allow it. So I'm guessing if Lucas thinks his joke was what he wants Obi Wan's home planet to be called, then that's what it's called.

you really have to question his motivations for names? Chewbacca? Han Solo? GREEDo? Star Destroyer? I could go on, but I think you get the point.

A lot of Star Wars names are odd rearrangements of syllables of the names of people, places and things.

Nothing unusual here.

KOTOR is pretty damn good but yeah, nothing beats ANH.

As a movie, it's the best. But as a Star Wars experience, KOTOR wins hands down. You can't compete with being in the middle of a huge Star Wars setting where you control what happens.
