Lost season 6 with spoilers beware

What really grinds my gears is that last weeks promo for tonight's episode promised that we would get answers. What did we get? Squat. It's really getting annoying.

Sayid is the same in both timelines. can't get over what he did.

I didn't get the significance of the baseball until Dogen told the story. At least he's with his son in the other timeline.

brutal ep. Sayid with 5 kills.

I dunno, man; I gotta sleep on it here in West Coast time, but I can guarantee you I'll have some cogent observations for you in my Spectacularry column about LOST, tomorrow. But for two sample points:

• We've lost Sayid to the Dark Side.

• Lapidus is still awesomely in the story but not OF the story, if you know what I mean.

Man, I love this show. Also, I love Keamy. :)

Also, I make this prediction at 11:00 pm PST Tuesday March 02: "Wallace" at 108 on Jacob's wheel is WAAAALLLLLLLLLLTTTTTTT! :)

I've basically given up caring about the show. I'm all ready for it to fail hardcore at the series finale. But I'll keep watching until then.

Didn't V already tank? I mean, I know it's not canceled, but what is it, a 5 month hiatus after 4 episodes?

V was a miniseries that got approved for a full series. It was only after the miniseries aired and did well enough that the series was put into production.

I think this season of Lost has been great.
My guess is the alternate timeline is the series' "happy ending" - the main characters are all much happier there. Whatever happens at the end will probably result in the 'alternate' timeline being the true/final version.

One question - how effective is it when you kill someone in a healing pool?

Another question - they implied that Dogen's death triggered LDM's ability to get into the temple. How does that work?

Yet another question - if the ring of ash keeps him out, why couldn't Claire just scooped open a gap for him?

I was honestly disappointed by this episode. Had some great stuff but they promised answers last week and we got basically nothing. It's stupid. There isn't much more of the season to go and they still keep adding question upon question with no answers.

Fun episode, I'm hoping for the finished "happy ending" timeline being the final direction the show goes as well.

My only frustration is that I have to have the replay episode that plays just before each new episode........with it's fantastic popups to explain what I just watched and how it fits. There has just been too much water under the bridge for me to put all the puzzle pieces together without the pop ups. LOL.

Dave :)

I believe the other person who has to come to the island is Desmond.
He spent years pressing the button in the Hatch every 108 minutes so it makes sense that his number on the wheel is 108.
Also, Faraday's mother told Desmond 'The island's not finished with you'.
We'll see.
Oh and by the way, Emilie DeRavin was on Jimmy Fallon last night and confirmed that they are still filming the last season. They are not finished filming yet.
Lots of time for last minute changes if need be.
I think they're still filming so close to the wire because they werre waiting for some actors schedules to clear so they could be brought back to the show.

Not a bad episode, but if the plane landed, I want to see Ecko, and Shannon. I would also like to know why Dogen being alive kept Smokie out, and his death let him in.

I loved that Sayid killed Keamy, who has a Christopher Walken quality about him.

What do Kate, Sayid, and now Claire all have in common- they have brutally killed people-- hence- darkside...

Honestly, I'm just along for the ride at this point. I've given up trying to figure anything out and I'm just letting them tell me the story. hahaha

I seem to recall that someone stumbled across the cabin (still no explanation on why it would disappear then reappear) and the ring of ash around it was broken, like a little section was scooped away.

But this is yet another one of those things that happened so long ago and I can't remember the events that surrounded it. :unsure

I think it was season 4. I believe it's when Ben is taking Hurley to or at least by the cabin, he looks down and we see the ash ring has a break in it. He looks disturbed and they keep going with whatever they were doing.

I don't get why Dogen being in the temple kept Smokie out of it. Plus, if the ash ring keeps him out - how did Dogen's death let him in if the ring wasn't broken? Only thing I can think of is that possibly Jacob made him ageless or something like Richard. Hard to know on that front if Dogen is from the same timeframe as the losties though - doesn't make it impossible though. Perhaps if someone jacob deems the leader still is in the temple, he can't get in. But then again, if that's the case, what's the point of the ash ring?

As far as Kate, Sayeed, and Claire being killers, ergo the dark side - I don't think it's been established that Claire killed anyone prior to meeting up with smokie. Kate's reaction post temple massacre seems to be more WTF is going on as opposed to anything else.

But Ecko didn't come to the island on the plane, did he?

Alternate timeline Boone already told Jack that Shannon didn't come back from Australia with him... Guess they couldn't get the actress back.
