I miss the real Locke on island. He was such a dynamic and interesting character. It was just cool to have someone so in love with the grandeur of the island, and someone who appreciated the mystical aspects of it all. I miss that point of view on the show a lot.
Turning Claire into the new crazy lady with a rifle looking for her child was a let down for me. But how cool and creepy was the skull and fur in that crib? Yeesh.
Did anybody ever read that novel "bad twin" because I was wondering if anything in it was playing out this season, now that we have basically two of every character running through the show.
I agree that what Jacob wanted was for Jack to see the lighthouse and understand it's function. But, I don't think "replacements" are the end game here, as MIB told Sawyer. In fact I'm pretty sure that most of what he told Sawyer in the cave is lies.
I am also not sure about there being two time lines. I think that we might be seeing the island in the same timeline as the recent events. It was moved remember, so it's not in the same location. Meaning, there are two islands, one sunken in the original location, and one in the moved location, not two timelines.
That make sense? It's kind of an abstract idea to explain.
I think another question would be, is there another set of Jacob and MIB to contend with?
