I've always wanted the Z staff he carted around in the show. I know Saban keeps the prop under lock and key and later re used it for another character who wielded it. Has anyone ever made one?

There are a small number of members like Like MMPR, but the usual props are helmets and morphers...so I doubt any-one has attempted to make it...

It honestly doesn't look too hard. If I were making it, I'd trace the Z out onto a styrene sheet and layer more sheets for the 3D effect, or some papier-mache pulp to add some bulk to it. You would also have success with shaping Sintra for the 3-D portion. You could then mount that on a PVC pipe or wooden dowel with minimal fuss.

I think making that would be quite fun, and relatively easy as far as some of the MMPR props go. I had heard that the actual staff they used either had gotten bent or broken during a rehearsal or something and they had to duct tape the thing back together. My guess the actual one may just have a dowel rod that had been sanded down beyond a certain point on the rod itself, with the 'Z' made somehow.

If I had to guess at the color though, they might have spray painted the whole thing with a clear protective coat, or foiled the thing. Who knows? you could always just ask Saban. (*snorts*)

I plan to attempt it in 2014. Only one other person I know has made the staff. I will post their info when I find it later.
