I am going to be putting a personal display up of my all-time favorite Superhero well technically Superheroine, from the X-Men, Storm. I've been an aficionado since I saw the first film 13 years ago at age 10 and now I'm buying one of the screen worn suits but the suit is missing: Belt Buckle, Cape, Gloves & Armbands. The individual I am purchasing the suit from used to work for the Studios but hasn't been able to find, nor has heard of where the other pieces have ended up so I am trying to do some searching as the suit just isn't complete and I'd really like the full ensemble for display. I am new to the scene but would really appreciate anyone or any info that can help me acquire or find someone who can replicate these items almost exactly. I will post images of what the pieces look like, look forward to hearing your responses/ information and thanks in advance for any offered intel!!!!

I'm a huge fan of the original 2000 X-men film and it's cool to see an RPFer score one of those iconic battle suits!

I'm not sure what arm bands you mentioned above? Could you clarify?

The belt buckle for the ladies costume is a very simple square with the X decal attached. The X's on the 2000 movie suits are actually stickers! I believe the collar X's had a velcro backing though.

Do you know if the suit you are getting still has the larger X Decal on the back of the collar? That would be a perfect reference on building an exact belt buckle replica. I believe the larger decals measure 2 inches in diameter

Here's my collection of Storm related costume imagery from previous auctions and the like-

Hope some of this helps! Please post detailed photos when the suit arrives! I love seeing the details of these suits! :)

THANK YOU so much!!!!! This helps tremendously and the pic of one of the armbands mentioned is the last attachment above. I'm thinking the gloves and these items were disposed of unfortunately. The suit I'm getting does have the X on the back of the collar but would've been nice if it were like the ones in the pics you posted, with the cape and buckle included.image.jpg

Wow! I never noticed her forearm pads were separate from the suit!

Looking at my photo collection, it looks like they are a very "optional" peice of the costume. They would take them off and on in the same photo shoot even.
