I remember seeing a tutorial on mold making for small parts where someone used legos as a "box" to poor the casting material in it. I've looked and looked but can't find the link I saved and was wondering if anyone ever saw something like that here on the lair.

I usually just use 1/4 inch foamboard to make my mold boxes. It's cheap, it's easy to cut at right angles, and you can get it at Target or Michael's or pretty much any craft store. Best of all, you don't have to get your Legos dirty.
