Little showoff pics for a project I did a while back - green bang bangs :)

I made this set a while back, but spaced on em until I was out taking some other photos today.

The case has another biohazard symbol on the same spot on the other side, and is lined with fabric, as well as having some foam in there to help keep em where they need to be.

And yes, those are .50 cal casings, and real sized bullets (molded off real .50 cal bullets). They didn't turn out SPECTACULAR, as they are mildly tacky, but I am still pretty proud of em.

I am thinking of running some LEDs in the case to the bullets but I like the idea of them being removable.

25 bonus nerd points for spotting the "in joke" in the thread :)

Thanks for the read!

It's a gameboy advance case that I bought years ago at Kmart.

The foam I had from a package that came in, and the material I just bought from the store.

Hope that helps out!

I'm gonna have to skip my 25 points, as I'm not getting the 'in joke', but I do like the results- very nice. As for LED's on the bullets, maybe a green LED behind each one in the case itself? a pressure switch so they don't come on unless it's opened could be hidden easily under the cloth, and the LED shining up from behind the Bullet would really make them pop. You could also make the brass casings a part of the circuit to each LED, so removing the round from the case turns off the LED, helping to continue the illusion.

:lol

I thought about the LEDs, but haven't really done much with them. The primers are out of the brass, so there is PLENTY of room for electronics, batteries, etc for each one.

I was thinking of a reed switch on the box so when you open it, it lights up, but when you close it they go off.

These might become ebay fodder soon though, so I dunno if I am going to work on them anymore.

Appreciate the feedback though :D
