Awesome work, Trip! While I grew up on TNG and the cobra head phaser, the boomerang was always a close second favorite of mine.

I had never seen the emitter shot showing the Phillips head screw head. That’s interesting.

May I ask where you got the prism tape?

Just came across this. Yeah, I had a casting like that with the hollow trigger but lost it in my house fire years ago. Luckily, I found and bought a build-up from Scott Nakada recently that's beautiful. Somewhere in a box I *think* I have the damaged original I'd like to refurb. Went looking for paint codes when I noticed that TPZ is gone! Glad I found this thread. PS- Nice job!
