Astrid Skirt - Attached the leather strips to the fur using a screw and washer on the back side of the top skull through the fur. Then I glued all of the spikes onto the craft foam using loctite professional grade super glue. The spikes and skulls were hand painted with Liquitex iridescent silver.

Really nice! I would make the fur a wee bit longer for the skirt though But it looks awesome!

I had to work with what my local hobby lobby had in stock which was 9x12 sheets so that's why it's not as long as the picture you posted.
But she does have the skirt rolled down quite a bit. When it is adjusted the leather straps line up with the bottom of the fur. I'll post a better picture in a couple of days.
As long as she likes it thats cool with me. It's not like one of my big costumes where every detail must be achieved

I cut some pieces of of Bristol board that fit my daughter then transferred that to the 5mm craft foam
