Lightsaber Sword/Knife Hybrid

Hi People of the RPF, so ive been thinking about this for a while and ive finally decided to go ahead with this project. My plan is to combine a sword/knife blade with the hilt of a lightsaber. Ive come up with a few rough concepts so far and id appriciate it if you could tell me which you think is best. Thanks!

I like the idea, and the designs look really cool so far!
I think the issue is seeing them in 2D on paper makes them look more like regular knife hilts rather than lightsaber hilts, but I bet they'll look great in 3D
A Katana style kilt and blade would look awesome, especially as lightsabers have strong links to those types of swords and Samurai in general. I think your second design is definitely heading along those lines

Yeah i see what you mean, im probably going to do some 3d designs and ill post them when there done

So ive made a quick 3d model of the first design, its not got all the details in just cause i wanted to get it done quickly!
