I remember seeing something similar at the BTTF.com store. It was a 1:1 scale head bust of Doc which was probably used at the BTTF: The Ride attraction. I am guessing the cost was around $2500, not sure though. You could check with Stephen Clark.

Heh heh...I made that head for Steve Clark years ago. Used the Lloyd lifemask frequently found on eBay.

It's a wax head with oil painted detailing and hand-plunged crepe wool hair. I think I've got some production pics on my home computer :)

I just made the head, he made and dressed the body.

(But I do think I may have a couple of those Ride shirts around here somewhere ;))

I think its so cool that the person responsible for the bust is here on the RPF. Any pictures you find of it would be very much appreciated!
