The Shriekers came from Hong Kong. They were apparently commissioned as a promo (or so I was told by the seller). I have GRABOID on the distant horizon as an arcade prop project and grabbed them when I saw them. They are made of a light polyfoam as are a few other lifesize guys I have (including a different Saucerman, a WOTW alien, and the Twiki). They all seem one of a kind pieces but all have the same lightweight material composition. The shriekers are definitely my favorites of the lot and keep reminding me to finish arcade props and get back to GRABOID.Originally posted by freege@Oct 8 2005, 01:54 AM
I would Also love to know where those shriekers came from. I think those are the coolest thing in this thread so far :thumbsup

I'm not a sculptor so I employ the services of talented artists who can sculpt things that I'd like for my collection.Â
"Commissioning a sculpt" means that you pay a sculptor / artist to work on a project.
