Does anyone know who supplied the armor used in Fanboys? Lots of versions out there (still trying to track down the armor that fits my criteria) but all your pictures look...inspiring. Can't wait to get my own armor and do some trooping...or at least, go to my local supermarket wearing it!

The costumes in Fanboys are definitely FX suits. :thumbsup

fan boys used FX suits... but they lack accuracy all around. AP suits are way better though. Contact me if you need a set.

Here's my TD... I'm about to upgrade the belt to authentic material, and I got new pouches I'm going to dye and add to / replace the shoulder pouch with (all pictured below). I spent a lot of time making this set of armor as ultra-accurate as I could. 3 buttons on the ab plate and the whole deal. So I hope you enjoy!

(I'll post more pics in a month or so when I'm done with upgrades.) :cool

Notice the detail I did on the frown... just like how the "move along" frown is painted from the original.

After 6 pages of accurate suits, it's easy to see why my FX is garbage.
There was a time when I thought this looked good, but I can't stand the sight of this thing now.

My TD is a little better with the MR bucket (the rest is still FX) but It's still hideous.

I gotta get me a decent suit.:cry

I think the title needs to be changed Jon. Lotta people not reading the first post! No FX armor. And only the most accurately built and painted of the cast off original sets!

That being said, there are definately some great looking suits mixed in this thread! Lol!

Alot of inspiration to finish mine!

Can't wait for warm weather to get mine painted and finished up!

What the heck - here's my TM suit with my "Set for Stun" replica helmet.

The second one has latex handguards as well, my sculpt

And with the (still) clean (when the photoshoot took place) TM lid:

It has been slightly weathered since, to get a little closer to the Tantive IV troopers, but I haven't had a chance to take good pics of that yet.
