ESB Bespin Clamp - Small New Detail?

Looking at some references for my Bespin build I noticed that the clamp washer seems to be circular and not the standard rounded square ones.

That's just the round part of the lever as far as I can tell. The chrome is peeled off the edge of the lever and because it is rusty makes it look like the lever is shorter than it really is.
