ledger/joker almost done

this is clay added to the original Ledger I did, then painted. Please critique. I would then cast this, pull another copy and do more real skin tones, add joker makeup and hair then done.

I could only go in one direction with the eyes, because this was done on my hardcopy of heath, so I did a squint, ala interogation scene, or "you remind me of my father" frames. he went from expression to ex. so fast.

Fantastic portriat and you've got a great eye for likenesses but please please look at those ears:eek They just do not look natural and are out of place. You need to go back to school on this as its letting the rest of this masterpiece down ;)

I emailed you a while ago on this and never got a response back. Did you ever decide if you were gonna offer these to buy?

cyborman, do have a pic you could post that illustrates, that would be great if you could. not sure what you mean. thanks

I personally love it, I really like how the expression is so different from any other Ledger Joker I've seen, and very intense. Not sure what is meant with the above comment about the ears, I guess in the first shot there's a pretty clear definded 'line' curving from the top of the ear to the inside, but I don't find it that distracting.

Hey doody...

heres a few illustrations that might help

incorrectearcode.jpg

The incorrect ear code with 1 furtherest from the head and 11 being the deepest which, dare I say, was a lot like your ear sculpts

The correct ear code

Notice the shadow cast showing the depth here.

Basically your ears need to be more smooth and have much more depth particularly around where the inner fold is. Your ear sculpts have very little depth here ;)
