Hey guys, was wondering if you can recommend any books, dvd's, etc regarding prop making techniques, tools of the trade, materials, etc. I've learnt a great deal from this forum and a few others out there, and am ready to have a go at it, but am missing some of the fundamentals :confused Anything you can recommend would be fantastic!

Cheers!!

Well, if you're into Trek I'd highly recommend the kits produced by John Long and Roddenberry.com. Both of these kit producers provide excellent guides to buid up their respective kits. Lots of really good info. Of course, you're also provided with a kit to build up. In the end you learn something and get a finished prop.
