Lasgun from dune 2021 modelling and build log

On top of my ongoing Ornithopter modelling challenge I've decided to see how quickly I can model lasgun from Dune 2021 designed by Christopher Rosewarne.

I am not sure how much time it took, but I've recorded the whole process and most likely will edit together some video later. I think it was less than 5 hours?

I will share files one way or another. At least when they are 3D printable (cut down into appropriate pieces etc)
Will use this thread when/if I decide to make full scale replicate based on model I've made.

Was that what the Sardaukar were using to get through the door to the research station that Paul and Jessica escaped to? If so it never occurred to me that that was what they were using.
