Lara Croft costume help

This is a cool costume. I was never really into the Tomb Raider games but I was browsing google images for high res shots (of anything) and I came across these on this page. They're super close up. Dunno if you had them or not but figured I'd post them anyway for anyone else who might care.

Here's some high res renders from the game model.
The right side list on this page has a large assortment of screen caps, some of which are high res.

If you plan to make her minicam i have screen caps if you need them.

belt is almost done.used a leather tutorial to give a better look to the holsters.found some cool shorts and a shirt that will work.working on the boots now.i could use some better res pics of those. thanks alot.ill post pics as soon as i can. im also working on my buzz costume too.ahh where did the time go? haha

Alison's boots look to be made of vinyl and don't have the metal plate at the toe.

In game version.
These have the toe plate and working cam buckles that she is seen adjusting in the beginning cut scene in Thailand.

Hmmm. It's funny that the Tomb Raider model doesn't have an accurate costume. I find that amusing.

My plans for my TR boots are to simply mod some of the boots I have and maybe get the local shoemaker to help me with the metal toe. If all else fails, I may just start browsing online stores for boots with a metal toe.

you could always just get a few of those thin aluminum cookie sheets or the like, cut them to shape...hammer them to the contour of the toe and then just pop rivet them on....just a thought.

take care,
Tommy

You could also rip a set off of some old Moto cross boots. My wife went with the movie version boots which I think are available.

I was thinking moto cross boots. I have another costume I'm planning that requires them, so I'll have to save up. Turns out, they're expensive. lol
