Installed the flame tube turbine in the open engine bay...will probably give it some sand weathering as well when the whole car is done

Would you be willing to provide more information on your windshield process? I am planning on scratch building a landpeeder, but without a nice windshield it just cannot happen. I think this would be the only part that I would not be able to create at home.

much appreciated,

much appreciated,

same thing here, you beat me to the punch! I am going to make it be able to drive. (hopefully)

Hey guys...yeah the windshield is a bit tricky. I basically just modelled it in software to exactly fit the windshield outline of the car, then generated the STL file and sliced it up to print. Glued all the pieces (4) together and then stuck it to a board. Cut the board to shape and then filled the whole thing with PU foam. Added a 2" block of wood to lift it off the bed for vac-forming and then finished it all over with bondo etc until it was like glass. Vac-formed it in 6mm PETG. There are probably other ways to do it but this was the most DIY method for me

just read through all of this and omg GEEK1138 a amazing build love every part of it,
any more models from the build you willing to share with us would be amazing if you did :D

Ok...From one landspeeder builder to another...That is pretty sweet! Well done!

It's a difficult little thing to get right, but you've really nailed every part. It's crazy that you actually PRINTED a lot of it...

Very nice!

Jason

And here's the greeblie bits for the body shell. They will need to be cut out of the shell and fitted. I just modelled the tricky stuff,,,the other parts of my build were found parts/electrical elements etc. The main greeblie for the bonnet tray is the same as from the top of the Mouse droid which u can find on Thingiverse

Can you share some more informations about this museum in Germany!
Being from Germany I’m really excited to hear more about this.
Who is involved? As far as I know there are only a handful of people to cover such a project...

OK I'm not sure how much I can say as It's not open yet but it is a walkthrough of the original trilogy. It's near Lubeck
