Hello guys/gals,

I was wondering if there were some people out here who own LA Confidential props/replicas or who have interesting ideas for creating props. I'm a big fan of the film and I would like to make some props myself.

So far, I have the following ideas for props that shouldn't be that difficult to make (given that I'm not really that much of a craftsman...)

- ID badges for the main character (Im still a bit confused to what those would have to look like, since there is contradictory info on the internet)
- Fleur de lis card (I'm doing that one now)
- LAPD badge (contacted a guy who might sell me one)
- case files (need to rewatch the film to make a good selection)
- The log Ed reads that helps him to crack the case (you'd know what I mean if you have seen the movie, don't want to spoil it for those who haven't)

Really like the ID badge. Something from the Victory Motel might be cool, maybe a matchbook or a post card.

Replicas of HUSH-HUSH magazines wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I'm pretty sure I've seen LA Confidential newspapers and props on Propstore if you're looking to buy them.

Love this film. Saw it again the other day (and LEGEND) same directors take on the Krays. Love to see replicas from this.
