Done / Completed Kylo Ren Helmet From 3D model **new pic #220**

Hey man, I hope you had a great vacation and was wondering if you had a chance to finish mine and send it out. Take care and can not wait to get it. Thanks.

Can you please PM me info about a raw kit. Also, my head is somewhat big, around 24" wide. Would it fit? haha

Thanks!

Hey there Kylo People, just thought I would post a few pictures of my "TheRocketeer" Kylo Helmet I've been working on, for the record fantastic helmet. I didn't get directly from him... but thought you would like it, here is a thread of the progress,http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=253707
and here is where I'm at in the build at this point. If you have any questions on what I've done please post up in my build thread and not here so we don't mess up TheRocketeer's run thread.
Thanks to TheRocketeer for a great Helmet.

That looks great :) you going to weather/scratch up the chrome some? I like the damage and the sunken in pieces.. I might do that to mine..if I ever get one myself :)

Hey Rocketeer,
Yes I am going to do some weathering as soon as I get the lining in and padding , but mounted the nose/face plate, and did some cotton cloth for the visor/eyes, I can see through it really good as well!!!
Thanks again for a fantastic Helmet.

I'm working on this helmet, and it's a really been a joy so far. Very clean casting, and the resin is even...it's just great. I'm ready to start painting, but have one question. I don't want to clog the sales thread with WIP, but what should be done about the circled area below? Is that gap supposed to be there, and filled in with the same fabric as the cheeks? The two angular pieces that are included then help the mouth piece stay attached, correct?

There shouldn't be a gap. You need to place it properly. Once it's in the right spot there are no gaps to fill...
