besides, what you guys are using to get the eyes covered ? @curtis, the kit does not come with lenses or similar, does it ?

Nope no cover.. I don't believe there is anything inside..the celebration pics had black cloth to cover the mannequin from showing..if its covered in the show I bet its cg? But if anyone has any info to confirm some type of cover/shield I will gladly try to get something going for that :)

I personally bought cloth as well.. I'm good to get it without anything from u Curtis. .
 
So in other words..the ones who got the shipping email and paid already can expect the helmet to go out this/next week?
 
Hey guys I would rather get emails for this stuff :) but Helmets are going to tomorrow.... so if you paid shipping this week they will be leaving tomorrow and you'll get an email...

I was thinking to get me a visor right herehttp://www.t-visor.com and cut it and install it.. Curtis.. do you know the dimensions of the eye area of the helmet ?
If anyone has a better idea.. please post
 
Got my Kit last night... the casting is beautiful !!! Really nicely done ! Just have to figure it out now how to attach the parts to each other and how much to sand off the edges to make it fit. Cant wait to paint that bucket ! Thanks Curtis .. this thing looks super screen accurate to me

The photos didn't show up in the email you sent me but wow the finishing looks insane!!! Amazing job yet again but to be expected :D shipping payment sent can't wait to paint this up!!!
