It was definitely a smart move to expand on the coloring you did. The different tones lend well to the look of the skin. The key is layers.

The more layers added correctly create alot of realism. You
Got it going really well. I did not notice any veins of any kind, maybe that would be a nice addition to some of the pale areas of the skin and head. Your doing a really nice job buddy! This is going to look awesome. I can't wait to start my paintjob on my skins!!

Thanks Gene, yeah actually there is a lot of veins on the skin, is just the camera, even that is a 12.1 pxls need to capture it under right light.

Nah, it isn't your camera Chris. I was looking at the pictures on my iphone so I wasnt getting the full picture.

You are doing a great job. The best advice I can give ya bud is take your sweet time. And right when you think it is done, walk away from the project for a solid week. Then come back and look at it, you will see lots that you want to change.

If you come back and are still happy. Then that means you really are finished!

In all seriousness adding the extra tones to this was the best move you could have made. Just let it evolve, you are on the right track.

It looks great so far, the color scheme really works well together. With using inks for this suit, how does it compare to latex paints? Since the ink soaks in, is it harder to go over an area if you want to change it?

thank you guy so much.
About inks they are way better than latex paint, the only thing you have to be careful with is that when you layer colors if the previous color is not sealed and you add another color, paint will react.

Thanks Andrew, I appreciate the good words, hermano.

And also everybody's suggestions, Gene once again giving me those words of wisdom, I think you are right, I need to take my time working on suit to make sure it looks good.
I'm putting my tools down til weekend, need to clean my half an inch studio, as you can imaging i'm running out of space, so i'll do that and get back to it a little fresh.

Thanks buddy...

Well I have a couple other pieces that i have painted. I wanted to know what you guys think of the nails.. I wanted something different then the usual black.

the nails look great. do you want the nails to look like the teeth on your head?

your gauntlets are amazing. im just curious, what
is your gauntlets made out of?
Because im gonna start my gauntlets soon hopefully, and i need to know
great ways to make a good lookin set of gauntlets like yours :)

thanks, Matt

umm thanks buddy,

But actually the nails have a different paint pattern than the teeth.

About the gauntlets, they were made by Scott Mannowar, they are made of resin. As you can see they are very high detailed.

Good luck on your build pal.
